I am in conversation with Paavo Matsin and Tony Peake exploring living under the influence of communist rule.

I am over the moon to be writer in residence at Chalkwall Hall- Southend on Sea as part of The Essex Book Festival. My residency will start from the 19th March and ends on the 27th March.  Polish Independence in 1918 nestles in the chambers of thought and serves as potential content for my writing.  A new area to explore…

“Creativity takes courage” Henri Matisse

Lots of courage, creativity and writing at my workshop for the Richmond Literature Festival 2017.  As always, such a sense of achievement from those who participated.  The process of writing can be difficult and lonely.  It’s good to share the ideas and thoughts that make us and our writing.

Wonderful day of creative writing teaching as part of the Richmond Literature Festival 2016. The workshop explored ideas of writing the self/other – writing self portraiture in response to the current exhibition, KAOS: Re-Inventing the Selfie. Good to see so much writing produced.
